Upcoming Lean Enterprise Certification Programs (LECP) in September

Learn the skills you need to lead successful Lean projects by joining Impact Dakota for one of three upcoming LECP sessions.  

What is the program?

The Lean Enterprise Certification Program sessions are designed to provide your workforce with the opportunity to learn about the tools, techniques, and systems that enhance their abilities to contribute to your continuous improvement efforts.

Lean Certification is a nationally recognized program using standards developed and judged by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). 

How Will I Benefit?

After completing the course, participants will have learned the skills necessary to lead lean projects within their organizations. The knowledge and skills gained through the program help organizations sustain their Lean capacity by providing employees the tools they need to lead confidently.

What’s Included?

The basic program utilizes classroom and hands-on instruction to provide participants with a thorough understanding of Lean principles.  

  • 40 hours of classroom learning on Lean topics such as 5S, Total Productive Maintenance and Value Stream Mapping
  • 16 hours of practical application designed to have participants apply their knowledge
  • A program review to prepare for the Lean Enterprise Certification examination
  • The SME standards examination

Program participants will earn the Lean Knowledge Certificate and also have the option to pass the SME Bronze Level Certification.

The enhanced program includes an additional 16 hours of practical application where participants apply their knowledge solving a problem within their company.  Additionally, it provides assistance with project portfolio development.
