Wahpeton Economic Development to Host MFG Day Event

Wahpeton Economic Development is hosting their second Manufacturing Day event.  This year, local high school students will tour 4 manufacturers and the North Dakota State College of Science Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics Technology Department.  On October 14thfrom 8:45am 2:35pm the students will visit ComDel Innovation, Masonite, Bobcat, and Minn-Dak Farmers Coop. 

ComDel Innovations is a precision machining and hard goods contract development and manufacturer.  They have a 240,000 square foot facility in Wahpeton. 

Masonite is part of the Masonite network of 70 companies manufacturing interior and entry door systems around the world.    

Bobcat Company is a leading provider of compact equipment for global construction, rental, landscaping, agriculture, grounds maintenance, government, utility, industrial and mining markets.   This is one of their 5 events they are holding across the state.

Minn-Dak Farmers Coop is owned by about 500 sugar beet growers in Richland County.  Their facility processes approximate 115,000 acres of sugar beets each season.
