LOE - Emotional Intelligence (The First Step to Lean Leadership — Understanding Ourselves and Others)

Session Description:
Emotional Intelligence can be a difficult concept for many of us to grasp. It is all about how, in the end, we understand our own emotions and we treat people to build strong relationships on the job or at home. It is all about how we receive and respond to information taken in before we let our emotions take control. This is difficult for many of us as our brain processes the emotional signals we receive before it processes the logical signals of which are both sent to our brain through our spinal column. We tend to react before we “count to ten”. We need the discipline to take the time to think about the situation and leave the emotions behind and try to think logically. Emotions should influence our decisions but not drive them. During this four hour session you will learn the four steps of Emotional Intelligence and how to apply it back at work and at home.  You will also start a six month personal action plan to implement Emotional Intelligence.
